April Product Update

ARI Recruiting is excited to announce another round of new and improved features for our users, including updates to the skill log and preparation for upcoming integrations, based on feedback from our ARI Recruiting family!

⚾️ SKILL LOG UPDATES 🥎

• We’ve made a big update to the way skill logs display for athletes, by only showing coaches columns/attributes that a potential student-athlete has been evaluated on
• Example: Baseball and softball coaches can see a skill log grid for a catching prospect without seeing columns for pitching skills, while still seeing pitching skills for pitching prospects

🏊 SWIM AND DIVE STATS UPDATE 🏊

• Introduction to the swim stats grid (some coaches have already seen this feature in their accounts)
• The swim and dive stats grid has been introduced and includes a non-fly out submission set-up (which includes tab-friendly navigation for full keyboard use)
• Swimming and Diving coaches, please watch this quick video for more information on the stats layout; including some important information about the previous stats layout

🏈 ACTIVITY TOPICS 🏈

• Topics have been added to the activities grid, allowing for coaches to view topics covered in conversations, emails, messages, beyond the subject name

🏑 POSITIONS AND STANDARD FIELDS 🏑

• All NEW softball and field hockey programs will begin with a standard position base within ARI, covering the whole diamond in softball and the whole field hockey field
• Updates to standard profile fields in recruit profiles for new teams, including middle name and changes to the academic info
• When deleting custom positions, coaches will now see a ‘LOCK’ icon if the custom position has recruits/athletes assigned to it (this includes archived recruits/athletes)

🏐 FILTERS AND AUTO GROUPS 🏐

• Updated filter save buttons, coaches now will see ‘Apply & Save’ and Apply w/o Saving’ buttons to make filter set-up easier

• Coaches can now filter for an exact day without including a specific year, so you can now pull up all athletes with April 28 birthdays regardless of year

⛳️ OTHER UPDATES ⛳️

• The area formerly known as ‘roster’ has been renamed ‘GRID’ (this is the runner icon in the menu bar)
• Files accepted via questionnaire are now visible by all users within a team account, not just the user who accepted the questionnaire
• Graduation year submissions on questionnaires have been updated to require ’20XX’ formatting; beyond helping standardize graduation years for Slate Integrations, this will help coaches utilizing graduation year filters for auto groups
• Calendar event creation now allows a coach to select themselves as a person attending a calendar event
• The duplicate detector now includes ‘Source’ as a potential duplicate field
• Import mapping now includes ‘Guardian’ information
